"My vehicle was rear-ended quite hard while I was at a red traffic light. My right leg was bruised inside and was sore immediately. A couple of weeks later, my body began to feel stiff and sore especially my neck and lower back. I usually heal pretty quickly so I tried to ignore it for a while even though I couldn't sleep through the night at first. Approximately one month after the accident, I went to my family physician and he said that there were no broken bones and the worst was over. He said he could give me prescribed painkillers but since the worst was over and I was sleeping through the night I wouldn't need them; and if I felt like I needed it, I cold take Aleve or Advil. When I asked about a Chiropractor, he said it would have helped me if I had gone within the first two weeks of the accident. I really didn't trust Chiropractors but I wasn't healing properly and it was taking much longer than it should. I remembered a letter I received from Dr. Arnold stating he specialized in auto accidents. I consulted a co-worker who was seeing a Chiropractor after her vehicle accident and she was quite positive about the experience she had with her Chiropractor. After pondering the subject for a while, I make an appointment for a consult. When Dr. Arnold explained all the tests and x-rays he would do before treating me, I was less apprehensive and skeptical. Dr. Arnold was very patient with me and for the most part it wasn't painful. There are days when some things hurt but it goes with the territory as you are working out the "kinks" your body had gotten. Much to my amazement, after the first week, I felt better and could move with more ease and less pain. It was then (after getting relief from the treatments) that I realized I was hurting more before I went to him than I originally thought. He and his office staff are very nice and professional but without projecting a stuffy atmosphere. It was a rather pleasant experience. I won't miss the pain and stiffness but I will miss him and his staff. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing his services."
